Data Journalism for Climate Action
Turning climate data into meaningful stories.
About the Project
Data Journalism for Climate Action (DJ4CA) is a European school education project that brings together data, storytelling, and climate awareness. Our goal is simple: to empower teachers and students to understand, analyze, and communicate climate change through data journalism.
Our Vision
We believe that climate education should go beyond theory. DJ4CA helps schools turn climate data into stories that inspire understanding and action. By combining data literacy, media literacy, and environmental education, we build critical thinking and a sense of responsibility for the planet’s future.
Our Mission
Through international cooperation, we give teachers and students the skills to:
- Interpret and visualize climate data
- Evaluate media credibility and fight misinformation
- Create meaningful data-driven climate stories
- Foster digital and civic competences for lifelong learning
